Founded in 2015, Hobbite Co., Ltd is a Chinese manufacturer specializing in optical lens design, precision machining, and optical coupling assembly. The brand is inspired by the exploration spirit of the “Hobbits” and is committed to becoming a benchmark company in the field of precision optical components, following Honeywell’s example and constantly pursuing excellence and innovation.
Our clients span multiple fields, including fiber optic communications, industrial lasers, life sciences, and laser ranging/lighting. Hobbite provides comprehensive one-stop services, from optical lens design and custom optical component manufacturing to ODM and OEM micro-optical integration. After more than ten years of development, Hobbite now has multiple production bases in Shenzhen, Zhongshan, and Fujian, with over 300 employees and more than 300 designed optical products.

Hobbite boasts an optics team comprised of 10 PhDs and actively utilizes over 30 patents in optical lens design, coating technology, and manufacturing processes for mass production. - Leveraging the broad industry prospects, we secured funding to establish a professional spherical optical component manufacturing base.
- This further expands our upstream production in the optical industry, marking the official establishment of Shenzhen Hobbite Co., Ltd.
- The commencement of production of 40G CWDM4 C lenses for industry-leading companies signifies our official entry into the optical market.
- Hobbite's C-lens products, thanks to their specialized technology and production capabilities, have successfully entered the Americas market through a partnership with leading US customer Dicon, marking a breakthrough for us in the international market.
- In 2017, based on market trust, we established a wholly-owned subsidiary, Hobbite Co., Ltd., to further enhance our production capacity and optimize our supply chain.
- This year, we have also successfully partnered with Oplink, a leading US customer, to promote our lenses, solidifying our position as a comprehensive optics manufacturer.
- As our business expanded, we began collaborating with a production base in Fujian, aiming to strengthen our specialized production lines and increase production capacity for a leap forward.
- Our strategy began to focus on the 10G PON equipment market, laying the foundation for a professional image in the future.
- Jointly established the Linshui factory with Tengheng Optoelectronics and Hobbite in Fujian Province, significantly expanding the C-lens production line.Entered the TOSA & ROSA BOX packaging market, successfully expanding into new areas of optical devices.
- Hobbite partnered with its Fujian base to jointly invest in and build an international production line for planar optical components (initially in Quanzhou, later moved to Fuzhou) to meet the diverse needs of its customers.
- Lens products have a market share of over 95% in the PON OLT market, establishing an absolute leadership position in this field.
- We recruited a core team of experts in optical design, optical device engineering, and factory operations to significantly enhance our technical and management capabilities.
- We also brought in a consulting firm to establish a professional performance management and incentive system to improve organizational effectiveness.
- We established the Zhongshan Optical Component R&D Center to strengthen our R&D and innovation capabilities.
- Strategically expand into the industrial laser and laser lighting market, opening up new growth opportunities.

- Establish a wholly-owned subsidiary, Zhongshan Guangji, specializing in OEM & ODM fiber optic assembly parts manufacturing, expanding its component manufacturing footprint.
Optical component products (collimation adapters, collimators, collimation pigtails, lenses + metal parts, etc.) have achieved batch shipments exceeding 1KK, indicating the maturity of large-scale mass production capabilities.
